If it is not obvious by my generic template/picture usage and writing style, I am new to blogging and everything that comes with it. For the longest, I felt like blogs were for people who needed to an online diary, people who needed to complain, and weird people with A LOT of time on their hands. As my Entrepreneurship 195 class progresses, I am learning the depths of my initial ignorance.
Display
After looking at everyone's blogs, I was more than impressed with the structure and display of my classmates blogs. The different colors, designs and fonts were great to look at; the conversations were well thought out and communicated. Even so much as the 'About me' sections were so much better than I expected! Then I realized who I was comparing everyone else to - myself. Do not get me wrong, all the blogs were great; but looking at the blogs was a wake up call to step up my own game.
Content
It is somewhat easy to tell which ones were the experienced bloggers by their tone, and fluidity of their posts. I found that the different backgrounds, pictures and colors captivated my attention, almost instinctively. Most importantly, my classmates opinions on the comparisons of Facebook and Twitter. Due to the fact that I am also new to Twitter (@solost195), I had to utilize my classmates to get some facts on the social media giant.
One More Thing!
*Special Thanks to all my classmates for demonstrating what a good blog looks like. My blog would definitely look like a Microsoft Word essay if it weren't for you all.*
Yay! Kudos to understanding that you learn from the COMMUNITY as much as from your own experiments. Keep going!
